NRS Highlights

  • Weighs approximately 3-4 lbs. making the NRS the lightest guitar in its class.
  • Comes in seven models: Spruce, Cedar, Redwood, Hawaiian Koa, Flamed Maple, Quilted Maple and Sunburst tops. The NRS will soon come in various painted colors and new NRS series.
  • Elegant thin-body design.
  • The NRS is finished with a nitro-cellulose lacquer.
  • A sturdy, hollow, proprietary-braced design allows you to play the guitar acoustically as well as plugged. The competitors cannot be heard unless they are plugged in.
  • Necks come in Mahogany with Rosewood fret board, or Mahogany with Ebony fret board.
  • Mother of Pearl fret markers for Rosewood fret boards and striking abalone fret markers for Ebony fret boards.
  • An absent sound hole design makes the NRS practically impervious to feedback. 
  • A custom B-Band light film pick-up with a three-band EQ, phase switch and separate master volume control. All buttons are center notched.
  • A built in blue-glow tuner that can be seen in sunlight, bright light settings, or dark stages.  The NRS is the only thin-body acoustic with a built in tuner.
  • All NRS guitars come in a 25.5" scale.  We also offer a 24.9" short scale design for fingerstyle players.
  • Standard neck width is 1 11/16" but we will build an 1 3/4" for those who want it.
  • Dual trussrod for easy neck adjustments.
  • A limited owner warranty to the original owner covering manufacturer's defects.

  • High quality hand crafted Sperzel tuners.  We offer Planet Waves self-cutting tuners for those who request them or Schaller tuners for the pro-series.
  • Dunlop strap locks.
  • Ergonomic soft-V neck. If you are used to playing a Martin, Taylor or Takamine you will love this neck contour!
  • Ebony bridge pins with mother of pearl or abalone center dot inlay.
  • Rosewood or Ebony bridge.
  • Binding, Rosewood, Flamed Maple or Tortaloid.
  • A custom designed, thin, square-shaped black case with fine white lines and black end caps with a black crushed-velvet inner lining and a wide inner pocket for strings and accessories. The pro-series cases come with a computer that reads internal temperature and hygrometer as well as a humidifier/dehumidifier
